Regarding Rebate Forms...

Just to let you know we have put the price of the rebate forms BACK to 10¢ handling fee.

We had put them up to 75¢ or $1.00 depending on the value of the rebate. We had ONLY done that because some people were coming in, getting 1 form and costing me money...never to return.

We at Frugal and Free offer free postage but when someone comes in and orders 1 coupon or form, I lose the shipping cost and a Pay Pal fee. That is when I finally put a $1 minimum order. Now that is in place, there is no need to increase the price of the handling fee on forms.

Please bear with us and these growing pains. I will always be fair with you, move your coupons as FAST as I humanly can (with a lot of prayer) and will work with anyone to get you what you need.

A saying that my Mom had was..."ask...all they can say is NO!" My Mom was right. Just ask. I may even say yes!

My "Find" at Walgreens...

I had an incredibly difficult week. Our only vehicle broke down and I had to take a cab to and from work. It was very difficult. I even had to get bread and coffee at a 7-11. It was highway robbery but when you have no other options, well, you go to 7-11 with your hands up and you surrender.

Anyway, where was I?
Oh yes, I had gone to Walgreen's about a week or so ago and saw 2.x oz size French's French Fried Onions marked down to 89¢ each. Of course, I freaked, I had coupons at home. So, I went home and got about how many I thought I needed...then the car died. In that type of situation, what can you do?

Well, I had to stop thinking about coupons and deals because I had NO WAY to get to the store. When the car was repaired, I did go a day or so after and found my beloved French's french fried onions there waiting. For 89¢ less 50¢ off= 39¢. I was pretty wiped out from the week and should've been paying attention. Checked my receipt. I was charged 1.49 each for the FFF onions. So, I proceeded to go back in the store and got my refund of $8.40 in cash.

My daughter is always amazed that I have cash--most of the time. Because I am always finding mistakes stores make on my orders. Either they short me on coupons or the wrong price scans, etc. I work too hard at this to not speak up.

So, for 14 cans of French's french fried onions, I paid $5.46. It was worth the wait. I am very grateful for the sales and deals I find.

Update on "stuff"

Good Morning...Home from work..sick. Seeing how I "talk" for a living, and I have a voice sometimes and then I don't-- due to this "cold" or whatever it is, I am here catching up on everything...

Sorry about the Kmart deal. Word has it that everything was ringing up at reg price. I just hate paying full price for that stuff, so I try to always get it dirt cheap when I can. The plates would have been nice though, huh? I never found any of those. Oh well, on to the next deal or steal!

Just in case you hadn’t heard…about the cases of paper from Amazon(Original deal was supposed to be $3.70 for a case of HP paper with pre-punched holes.) I gather it was a mistake in price posted on Amazon...it is for 1 ream not a case. I would never pay that for 1 ream. Some say they are getting 1 ream shipped and you can refuse OR they are being told by customer service (Discount Office Supplies- 800-734-6020) that they will honor the case price as posted on Amazon's website. I will update after I call about my order.

I just called CS about the paper and they shipped a ream of paper to me not a case..so she instructed me to just refuse it when Fed Ex shows up with the package and Amazon will credit my credit card.

**sigh** Oh well, again!

Hello. Sorry I haven't posted. It has been a pretty hectic and intense week.

I must speak honestly here.

I NEVER in my wildest dreams thought that there were people who would come to my site, order just 1 (one) coupon, accept the free postage, cost me 70¢ not including supplies and never return to order anything else.

That really blows me away.

Well, sometimes change is hard to avoid.
Now, I must put my foot down.
I MUST impose a minimum of $1 on all orders. If an order for less than a dollar is submitted, it will NOT be processed nor refunded.

I would apologize to my regulars, but then again my regulars would not just order 1 coupon.

I do this to help people- yes...but I do it first to help my family. There is nothing wrong with that. I must protect my interests.
