King Soopers-I tested the Kellogg's cereal deal: when you buy 3 cereals you get a catalina coupon for $3 off next order, 4 cereals-$4 off, 5 cereals $5 off.. For 5 boxes of Kellogg's cereal, I paid $11.88 less $5 off in coupons=$6.88 Final Cost. Plus a $5 Catalina coupon off my next order.

I had heard you would get $6 off automatically but that deal is THIS week. plus I have more $1 offs and a $5 off my order coupon. I think we may even get the Catalina coupon too..it says on a catalina strip it is good til Oct 3rd...Killer deal if that is the case... I will keep you posted about the cereal deal.

As soon as I get a hard copy of the grocery ads, I will see what deals are out for the week.

It will be wonderful when I can stay home and do this full time. But, until then, be patient with me. I have to stop and go to work outside the house...and it is definitely a challenge.

Have a great day...and Go Forth and Save!

You Learn Something New Everyday...

I am sure you have heard that saying. "You learn something new everyday..." I know I have but it still never ceases to amaze me when this new knowledge comes my way....**smile**
I went back to Grocery Warehouse, the next night, since my haul of 25¢ Boca Burgers. I poured over my coupon binder, looking for applicable coupons....I found a bunch of Catalina coupons for $1.50 off Morningstar Farms products that I got by purchasing Boca Products at King Soopers a few weeks back...)I got a free insulated lunch bag for every four I purchased plus the UPC's would go for the Boca Believer's Rebate) (Get it in before this Thursday 9/30)
I wasn't sure if Grocery Warehouse would accept the Catalina's even though they said Manufacturer's coupon since they had the King Sooper logo on them. But they did accept them, all 8 of the $1.50 of coupons.
At the end, I got 10 boxes of Morningstar Farms Chicken Marinara, 4 boxes of Morningstar Farms burgers and 9 boxes of Boca Burgers(with $1.25 off 2 c/o) for $5.25= approx 22¢ a box... I am grateful for these deals...
I will have more as I see them.. Have a great day..and remember,

Unbelievable Price

I just had this feeling to go to Grocery Warehouse....

Noticed no spectacular deals jumping out at me..until I passed a freezer case with DISCOUNTED ITEMS. All frozen items in the case were $1. There were Boca Burgers...14 boxes. How many 75¢/1 coupons did I have in my coupon binder? 14.

Coincidence? No way. I choose to give the credit to God Almighty. He takes care of all my needs and He knows how much I LOVE getting deals. The thrill in the pursuit.
Paying 25¢ for a box of Boca Burgers excites me. They normally sell for $3.79. I can feed my family very well for little money AND I can give to people who need groceries/misc items. God has given me this wisdom. He gives me the strength to go all over shopping for deals and the patience to put them together when there are sales.

For those of you that do not believe as I do, spiritually, that's okay. My intent is not to offend, I am merely sharing the core of who I am. I respect the fact that not everyone believes as I do but I need to let my "little light shine."

My oldest sister, who died of cancer a few years back used to say before entering a store "Okay, Lord, make the deals fall off the shelves..." Then she took the store by storm. She found the most incredible deals I have ever seen. Well, just like 25¢ boxes of Boca Burgers...**smile** I miss her, but in her memory and in the spirit of the Lord, I go forth and save. That's the "credo" of my site.

I hope you find some little tips at my site, a lot of coupons, encouragement and deals, deals, deals. Take the information and pass it on to someone else.

I will bring you more deals as I find them. Have a great day...
Go Forth and Save,
Michelle

Never Forget: September 11th

Good morning...today is the 3rd anniversary of that horrible event that will be etched in our minds for years and years to come. September 11th 2001. We were violated. As a people. As a country. We will never be the same again. Hopefully we have learned from this violent attack upon us. Hopefully we are thankful for all that we have and all that we are.
Let us never forget!

I find it hard to go from such deep emotional thoughts on September 11th--to deals at the grocery store.
________________________________________________________________________________

TGIF? No, LIMM

LIMM? Lord, It's My Monday!

When at Safeway yesterday, I got the last 4 boxes of the Spiderman Poptarts for final price of 99¢ a box for 12 ct box.
Also, got a couple boxes of the Uncrustables that are on sale for a final cost of $1.25 each. )No grilled cheese variety available)
Checked out the cereal deal, when you buy 4 GM ( Select varieties, Cinn Toast Crunch, Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs) you receive $6 off. Even with 2 $1 off 2 GM cereals that brings it down to 1.79 a box. Not an exceptional deal to me. These cereals are not discounted at all. They are 3.79 each for the cinn toast crunch, cocoa puffs and the cheerios that have the free Shrek watch in them are 4.99 each. At least King Soopers puts the cereal on a slight sale then offers the large amount off 4.
The Nabisco 12 pack snacks are on sale for $3 each, Use the $2 off coupon. I did purchase 4 packs of koolaid, which are Kraft products, but this coupon obviously is coded to ignore the buy 2 additional Kraft Nabisco products per snack pack coupon. I should have bought 6 packs of Koolaid, but had a brain bubble and got only 4, and had no problems, questions with or about the coupons.
Well, I post more as I receive...

Welcome to September

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted in many days. That thing called LIFE has been a bit intense.
Here are just a few of the deals I have seen in the new grocery ads that broke in today's paper.

Safeway
  • Uncrustables I have been gripping a fistful of these coupons, patiently waiting for a sale to "pounce" on. Here it is! Go Get 'em, People! ("those circle PB &J pie looking things" put out by Smucker's)- 4/$9 (Doesn't sound like too great of a deal, eh? Well, break it down..$2.25 each less 55¢ c/o doubled to $1 = 1.25 a package. ) This appears to be only the PB & J variety--not the grilled cheese variety. :=(
